LAGERBOX is customer favourite again in 2024
Like every year, 2024 saw many surveys on a variety of topics, including the popularity of companies. Popularity doesn’t automatically equal the most attractive pricing, but can also mean the popularity of the service or brand. In short: Who is the customer favourite?
In 2024, LAGERBOX was able to secure first place in the self-storage category.
The study featured 2,162 companies and was conducted online. The ranking is based on independent customer surveys and was created using a rating system. The recurring study was initiated by ServiceValue, a consulting company, and its results have repeatedly ranked among the top articles in the German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche.
LAGERBOX was able to secure a string of awards in the last years and is confident that it is heading in the right direction. It has successfully positioned itself at the forefront of the self-storage industry.
LAGERBOX in numbers
LAGERBOX has been letting out storage boxes for personal and business purposes at currently 31 locations since 1997. Additionally, it offers mailboxes and vehicle storage for cars, caravans, and other vehicles at some of its locations.
The facility in Dortmund offers underground parking storage for rent. Berlin, Münster, and Cologne have taken up offering office space.
Services at LAGERBOX
As a premium self-storage provider, it is our mission to provide our customers with the best-possible service.
This includes flexible lease terms and notice periods, long access hours on 365 days a year, free-of-charge transport aids at every storage facility all over Germany, and, depending on your booked package, a free-of-charge transport van for moving in, and sometimes also moving out, to transport furniture, boxes, or business equipment.
In addition, all our LAGERBOX storage facilities are under video surveillance 24 hours a day. Access to our premises and buildings is coded, ensuring that only customers can access them. At the same time, all our facilities are equipped with alarm systems and have direct connection to a security company.
Sustainability at LAGERBOX
We build all our new buildings according to the KfW Efficiency House 70 standard and aim to use natural infiltration for rainwater, wherever possible. Many greened roofs and solar systems have already been realised or will be realised soon.
Moreover, we use natural ventilation systems, which enables us to save considerable amounts of energy. All our self-storage facilities are equipped with LED lighting. Additionally, the lighting is controlled by motion sensors, meaning that the light only goes on when activity is detected.
The electricity market is constantly monitored by us, allowing us to already use green electricity at some locations.
LAGERBOX is expanding
It is our mission to offer storage space in as many German cities as possible. We are constantly on the lookout for new plots of land or pre-existing properties that can be retrofitted to meet our requirements and set up new self-storage facilities.
Construction of new self-storage locations is currently underway in Arnsberg, Remscheid, Erfurt and Braunschweig. Locations in Bremen and Essen are in the project planning phase. And there are many more facilities already in the pipeline.
