Let’s take a quick look at Hanover’s history before we go forward: Would you have thought that the city was first mentioned in 1150 and received town privileges as early as 1241? Probably not. Maybe due to its age, the city has a lot to offer.
We have a total of three LAGERBOX storage facilities there for you to store your belongings.
The state capital of Lower Saxony is located on the southern fringe of the North German Plain, the Leine and Ihme rivers, and has a population of 532,263. Cars from Hannover are often confused with those from Hamburg. The license plate “H”, however, belongs to Hanover. Hamburg had to make do with “HH”.
Hanover is best known for its football club, Hannover 96, which is popular and widely recognised among football fans, making a visit to HDI Arena a special treat. The Hanover Zoo, Landesmuseum Hannover, the state capital’s museum on Lower Saxony, and Herrenhäuser Gärten are great opportunities for exploration. A more recent celebrity son of the city is comedian and entertainer Oliver Pocher.
Our Hanover-based facilities are located in the districts List (Podbielskistrasse 271), Vahrenwald (Vahrenwalder Strasse 260), and Waldhausen (Hildesheimer Strasse 215).
In List, we have over 1,000 storage units available and an excellent location right on Podbielskistrasse, which is easily accessible with vehicles of any size. Mind you this also goes for our other facilities, which we opened in 2016 after taking them over from a competitor. Both of them offer 1,000 of lettable storage units.

You have access to your storage unit year and every day between 6am and 11pm and we also offer a goods receiving service for our business customers. We are very flexible when it comes to switching your unit size. Our customers also benefit from our security concept: Access is coded and the entire premises is protected by an alarm system as well as video surveillance.
Our office hours are Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 6pm, and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays. This also applies to all three of our locations.

* The transporter is included in the Smart and Premium packages from a monthly rental of 50 € for the move-in. In the Premium package, it is even included when you move out. In general, the use of the transporter requires availability. The use is limited to the times from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 3:30 pm. 30 km are included, each additional kilometer is charged with 0,50 €.
