LAGERBOX is expanding in Dresden
It’s that time again: LAGERBOX is expanding an already existing facility to create more space for its customers. We are looking to add quite a few boxes this time around. The facility in question is our location in Dresden Pieschen. Completion is scheduled for this month, July 2022.
Expansion was necessary because our storage units were in high demand at this location. LAGERBOX is expanding due to rising demand.
Much like the city itself, our location in Dresden is a cultural gem and definitely stands out. The location is not only home to LAGERBOX but also to Alte Mälzerei, a shopping centre. A building with a long-standing tradition, LAGERBOX invested heavily in it and brought it back to life.
The LAGERBOX facility is surrounded by many shops and an outstanding kebab restaurant. The building boasts many different stores and brands as well as a dance studio.
One reason demand is so high is that the storage units are right in the middle of the city centre. The location offers amazing accessibility and parking. The building itself is divided into many cells, offering great opportunities to store tyres, files, furniture, and many more things. The address is Heidestrasse 3.
Renting a storage unit has many advantages: The boxes are air-conditioned and many on-site transport aids can be used at no additional charge. Depending on the package you have booked, you can use a free*-of-charge transporter for moving in. On our website, you can find a great tool to help you find out how much space you really need. You pay for what you need and not one cent more. To us, that’s only fair.
Our storage units are available starting at one cubic metre and a minimum of one week. For our business customers, we offer a goods receiving service as well as a mailbox if you don’t want your mail forwarded to your home or headquarters. Whatever you store in our units, your storage goods are, of course, insured.
Nevertheless, our LAGERBOX security standards are very important to us: Access is coded and our buildings are equipped with alarm systems and video surveillance. Additionally, every unit has its own padlock as well as a numerical code.
A great advantage of LAGERBOX is flexible access hours. You have access to your belongings on every day of the year between 6am and 11pm. So, getting caught up at work is absolutely no problem.
The classic method of booking a unit on location is still possible but you can also book everything online at LAGERBOX. Our friendly staff is waiting for you at the on-site office, which is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and between 9am and 4pm on Saturdays.

* The transporter is included in the Smart and Premium packages from a monthly rental of € 50 for the move-in. In the Premium package, it is even included when you move out. In general, the use of the transporter requires availability. The use is limited to the times from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 3:30 pm. 30 km are included, each additional kilometre is charged with 0,50 €.
